USE OF NESSUS:


The ways to use the nessus with GTK client is:


I first start the server by typing the following:


change to the Nessus: julian @ ubuntu: ~ $ #
cd / opt / nessus / sbin




and start the server in daemon mode or


background running this command: julian @ ubuntu: / opt / nessus $ Sudo nessusd-D
Loading the plugins ... 12345 (out of 24,078)

All plugins loaded

change to the bin directory:

julian @ ubuntu: / opt / nessus $ cd bin

Now create the file targets.txt
julian @ ubuntu: / opt / nessus / bin $
gedit targets.txt
and add the following:



nessus-q 127.0.0.1 1241 NOMBRE_USUARIO_NESSUS CONTRASEÑA_NESSUS / opt / nessus / bin / targets.txt / opt / nessus / bin / results.txt / /
