In our case, this rocking chair was badly damaged. A part of the dirt, varnish was badly damaged, the wood had woodworm and grid was broken.
So, to retrieve, clean the surface, remove the varnish, and replaced a wooden seat was badly weakened by worms with a new part.
After this, apply a treatment anticarcoma. After the wood dyed to match and changed the broken screen with new one.
Finally I took a wax finish.
The result was very positive, as shown in the picture, because the swing was in very good condition.
