I imagine that more than one person tell me that you throw, but here, before lowering it to the fireplace we tried everything to retrieve a brown table like this, although at first glance seems a miracle to achieve something.

This really got to see what state was the wood, and we had varnish, so do a deeper cleaning to remove the varnish and leave the wood natural.

As shown in the photo, the top four pieces of wood missing, so we prepare four pieces of brown and became embedded in the voids, to help recover its original shape.

After this, and although he had no moth, was administered to a preventive treatment, and once dry the wood is dyed with stain, sealer was applied and finally took a wax finish.
